Fall is my favorite season!

Admittedly this summer was not too hot, usually by this time we are all ready for cooler weather so we can cuddle under blankets and have some hot chocolate.

Here are some of my tips to easily transform your porch from summer to fall.

These are usually things I can reuse each year, adding special touches as I find fun new things to buy.

  •  Change out pillows - I like to have a few solid color pillows that can be used year round, switching between decorative pillows each season.

I leave my red pillows out until I close shop in the winter, pulling out my Autumn and pumpkin pillows when the leaves start to fall.

  • Fill planters - I use hardy plants that can withstand the changing weather.

Mums work great in my area and look beautiful until winter.

I buy them with buds mostly closed, so I can watch them bloom.

  • Finishing touches -  You definitely can not have fall in the Midwest without corn stalks, hay, and pumpkins.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you didn't FALL TOO HARD!!
